Groves Police calls, April 16 through April 22

GROVES — Groves Police responded to the following calls from April 16 through April 22

Wednesday, April 16

• A 17-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 3900 block of Pure Atlantic Road.

• Medication was stolen from the 5000 block of Monroe.

• A truck traveling in the 5400 block of Lincoln pulled down a telephone line attached to a house and did not stop.

• A dog bite was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.

• A 62-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 5600 block of West Washington.

• A 33-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 2600 block of Angie.

Thursday, April 17

• A 43-year-old female was arrested for public intoxication in the 6000 block of 39th Street.

• A 23-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication, possession of certain prohibited substances and evading arrest in the 4300 block of Main Avenue.

• A 35-year-old female was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 5600 block of 32nd Street.

Friday, April 18

• A 25-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 2600 block of Twin City Highway.

• A 36-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 4400 block of Wilson.

• A fake $100 bill was passed at a business in the 3300 block of Cleveland.

• A 17-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 4600 block of Pure Atlantic Highway.

• A 33-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 1700 block of Main.

• A 44-year-old male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 5500 block of Twin City Highway.

Saturday, April 19

• Someone broke a glass window on a house in the 6200 block of Taylor.

• A duffle bag , leather cutter and a bowling ball were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 6300 block of Dave.

• Two shotguns, a black bicycle and a backpack were stolen from a house in the 6200 block of Howe.

• A 48-year-old female was arrested for disorderly conduct after officers were called to the 5200 block of 33rd Street on a disturbance.

• A 52-year-old male was arrested on outstanding Groves Police Department  warrants in the 2100 block of Owens.

• A 32-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 4900 block of Twin City Highway.
