Tuesday, June 12
A 1993 Ford F-150 pick up truck was stolen from the 5200 block of Twin City and was later recovered in Port Arthur.
A Jefferson County warrant was served in the 1900 block of Beverly Drive.
Jefferson County warrants were served in the 5200 block of E. Parkway.
Port Arthur warrants were served in the 2400 block of Taft.
A vehicle was struck by a 1990 Lincoln Town car that fled the scene in the 3000 block of Beverly Drive. The car was occupied by two females who fled the scene on foot.
Monday, June 11
A residence was forcibly entered in the 2700 block of Boyd, nothing appeared to be stolen.
A lime green and black Mongoose boys bicycle was stolen from the 5000 block of 32nd Street.
Sunday, June 10
A Hill County warrant was served in the 5200 block of Texas 73.
Saturday, June 9
Beaumont and Port Arthur warrants were served in the 5100 block of E. Parkway.
Fishing reels were stolen during the night from an unlocked vehicle in the 6900 block of Henry.
A cruelty to animals case was reported after six dogs were left chained in the back yard of a vacant house in the 6100 block of 25th Street. The dogs were in poor health and were removed.
A 1994 Toyota stolen in Groves was recovered in Orange County.
A 25-year-old man was arrested for purchase/furnishing alcohol to minors in the 5200 block of E. Parkway.
A locked vehicle was entered and the steering column was tampered with in the 5400 block of Gulfway.
Groves warrants were served in the 5500 block of 39th Street.
Friday, June 8
A 28-year-old man was arrested on Port Arthur warrants when he was stopped for a traffic violation in the 6200 block of Gulfway.
A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at a business in the 4800 block of Twin City.
Two Colt .38 nickel plated revolvers, a J.C. Higgens .22 caliber revolver and a digital camera were stolen from a residence during the night in the 5000 block of Sunken Court.
Two forged checks were passed at a business in the 6000 block of 39th Street.
A Groves warrant was served in the 6100 block of 25th Street when the driver of a vehicle was stopped on a traffic violation.
Thursday, June 7
A 24-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication when officers investigated a disturbance call in the 6600 block of Verde.
A 34-year-old man was arrested for no drivers license at Gulf and West Jefferson.
A 38-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication, disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana in the 4500 block of McKinley.
A vehicle struck a convenience store in the 6900 block of 32nd Street causing extensive damage. The driver also struck two parked vehicles and was arrested for driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana.
Wednesday, June 6
A Jefferson County warrant was served in the 3200 block of Twin City.
A 37-year-old female was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and evading arrest in the 6500 block of Val.
An identity theft was reported.
A city of Groves garbage can was stolen in the 5500 block of Beaumont.
