Thursday, March 15

• A person was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 1200 block of Seventh Street.

• A wallet, paperwork, $900 in cash and a Sirius satellite radio were stolen from a 2001 Lincoln Navigator while in the 2200 block of Robinhood.

Wednesday, March 14

• A men’s wallet containing $400 in cash and identification was stolen from a person at Timbercreek Apartments.

Tuesday, March 13

• An undetermined amount of copper ground wire was stolen from the Entergy Mid-County Substation, 3800 block of 60th Street.

• An iPod with adapter, radio detector and global positioning satellite was stolen from a 2006 GMC truck while parked in the 3800 block of Lake Arthur Drive.

• A purse with identification $20 in cash was stolen from a vehicle while parked at M&M Suprette, 2800 Memorial Blvd.

• A cell phone was stolen from a 1999 Jeep Cherokee while in the 4300 block of Fourth Street.

• During a traffic stop in the 3800 block of Memorial Boulevard, an officer found the vehicle, a 2004 Chrysler Concorde, was reported stolen from Groves. The driver and passenger were arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The female passenger was found to be in possession of a handgun and ammunition. Both suspects were transported to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

Monday, March 12

• A total of 700 feet of telephone wiring, valued at $13,407, was stolen from AT&T, 6001 Ninth Ave. An officer on patrol located a suspicious vehicle behind the physicians office located at 5957 Ninth Ave. In the bed of the truck, the officer located what appeared to be stolen telephone wiring. The officer was unable to locate a suspect after an extensive search. The vehicle was towed to a local wrecker yard and a hold was placed on the vehicle.

• A 1995 Buick Lasabre was damaged while in the 2200 block of 17th Street in what appears to be criminal mischief.

• A person was charged with possession of a controlled substance and marijuana while in the 4900 block of Jimmy Johnson Boulevard.
