Credit Union offers scholarship for deserving seniors The Port Arthur News Neches Federal Credit Union will award two $1,000 college scholarships to two 2007 graduating seniors in effort to support continued education.
To be eligible for the two $1,000 scholarships, members must be a 2007 graduating senior, plan to attend a four-year college and complete and submit a Neches FCU scholarship application by the Monday, April 2, 2007 deadline. The scholarship winners will be notified by mail on Friday, April 27, 2007. Applications are available at all five credit union locations: 776 Magnolia and 2239 Nall in Port Neches, 1955 Dowlen Road and 1254 Pearl Street in Beaumont, and 2623 Nederland Avenue in Nederland.
