Port Arthur police investigated the following reported incidents during the week:
Tuesday, Jan. 23
• A home in the 8500 block of Lynnwood was burglarized and a number of items were taken including: 26 inch LCD flat screen television, Playstation 2 game console and 25 Playstation 2 games, $20 in currency, checkbook, digital camcorder and a car DVD set with two 7 inch screens.
• A man was robbed of $50 in cash while at Murphy USA, 4995 Twin City Highway.
• A black and red pack containing $500 in currency was taken from Central Mall.
• Two 5-ton central air conditioning units were stolen from Sacred Heart Hall, 911 Lincoln Ave. This is a felony theft.
• A juvenile was cited for shoplifting at HEB Pantry, 4800 Twin City Highway, and released to her grandmother. The juvenile was found to be in possession of Dove roll-on deodorant and Milani face powder.
• All four ties on a 2006 Dodge Dakota were cut while parked in the 5500 block of S. First Avenue.
Monday, Jan. 22
• A car stereo/CD player and a toddler’s car seat were stolen from a 1984 Ford Crown Victoria while parked at Pebble Creek Apartments, 4121 Jimmy Johnson Blvd.
• A person reported criminal mischief to a 2005 Ford Escape. The vehicle has 4 foot scratches along both passenger doors while parked at Super Wal-Mart, 8585 Memorial Blvd.
• A man reported terroristic threats were made against him at Super Stop, 6201 Jade Ave.
• The back door of a home in the 3000 block of 18th Street was damaged.
• Costume jewelry and a lap top computer were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Nederland Avenue.
• During a traffic stop at Carver Terrace Apartments, 1300 Dewalt, a driver with outstanding traffic warrants was found to be in possession of two brown bottles of liquid PCP.
