Top Teens of America, PA Chapter crown royalty The Port Arthur News The Port Arthur Chapter of Top Teens of America recently held its Blue and Silver Ball honoring all seniors as well as the crowing of Mr. and Miss Top Teen.
Mr. Top Teen is Jeffery Joseph and Miss Top Teen is Hollye Williams. The runner-ups are Kendrah Braggs and Brittany Mackey. Mr. Top Teen runner-up is Larry Oliver. The graduating Top Teens are: Jazmond Castain, Dawn Cohea, Ronald DeJohn Jr., Andrew Fontenot, Denita Jones, Viola Jones, Jeffery Joseph, Darius Leviegne, Brittany Mackey, Jordan Marks, Shandi McDaniel, DeAndrea Oliver, Larry Oliver Jr., Joshua Rideaux, Amber Robinson and Dallas Smith. All of these students attend Memorial High School and Beaumont’s Kelley High School. The Top Teens are involved in various community services, such as visiting Gulf Coast Nursing Home in which they donate Christmas cards and socks as well as sing Christmas carols. They have also visited Les Enfantes Nursery where they have donated books and read to the children. There are 43 members of the group. The group is supported entirely by the Top Ladies of Distinction is Doris Jones. The Top Teen Advisor is Mary A. Sparks and the president of the Top Ladies of Distinction is Doris Jones. The advisor is assisted by Antoinette Henry and Beulah Jones.
