Jordan Miller, a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at Baylor University, was recently elected president of the Interfraternity Council for the 20008-2009 school year.

The IFC serves as the governing board for the 14 fraternities at Baylor. Miller, of Port Neches, meets on a weekly basis with Baylor administration and faculty. He also resides on the judicial review board which meets twice monthly with the Dean of Student Development.

One of his first duties as president was to attend the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute in May held in Bloomington, Ind. The conference was attended by leaders of Greek organizations from across the nation.

Miller will be a senior next year at Baylor University. He is majoring in business administration with emphasis in management. He was listed on the Dean’s list for the past two semesters. After graduation, Miller plans to attend graduate school to acquire his master’s degree in Human Resource Management.

Jordan is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Barry Miller of Port Neches. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Miller of Wilson, Kan. and Mr. William Guilfoyle of Abilene, Kan.
