ENGAGEMENTS

Zollers-Lucke
Blythe Zollers became the bride of Jonathan Lucke on Saturday, September 2, 2006 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Denton, Texas with Rev. Flachmeier officiating.
Blythe is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Max Zollers of Groves, Texas. Jonathan is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Lucke of Richardson, Texas.
Music was provided by the groom’s father, Mark Lucke. Bridesmaids, Erica Zollers and Maureen Zollers, served the bride. David Lucke served as the Groom’s Best Man, and Stellione Munteamu served as Groomsman. A reception was held in the church after the wedding.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School and graduated from the University of North Texas with dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Mathematics and Economics. She is employed by Sylvan Learning Centers and North Central Texas College.
The groom graduated form St. Edward’s University, Austin, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics. He is employed by the University of North Texas as a Mathematics Instructor while completing his Master’s Degree in Mathematics.
Following their honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides in Denton, Texas.

Bolt-Serna
Dr. & Mrs. Allen Bolt of Abilene are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Bolt to Capt. Carlos Serna, both of Abilene. Carlos is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Marcos Serna of Port Arthur, Texas.
The prospective bride is a 1998 graduate of Hamlin High School. She graduated from Angelo State University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Business Management. She is employed by Animal Health & Medical Center of Abilene.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1992 graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School in Port Arthur, Texas. He graduated in 1997 from the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science. He is currently a member of the 317th Operation Support Squadron at Dyess Air Force Base.
Carlos and Courtney will be married April 28, 2007 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

ANNIVERSARIES

Calvin & Dianne Christyy
On December 31, 2006, Calvin and Dianne Christy will celebrate 40 years of marriage. They traveled extensively for many years while Calvin worked in construction administration and during their travels, Dianne received her degree in computer programming. Both are retired and settled in Groves. They are surrounded by their loving family: Donovan and Karen Christy of Nederland, Cynthia Chance of Nederland, Jett Christy of Beaumont, Slade Christy of Groves, and Terry Erwin of Groves. They have 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. They enjoy being close to their family and friends and look forward to many happy years to come.

Mr. and Mrs. Woody Dorman
Woody and Margaret Dorman will celebrate their 50th Anniversary on Dec. 14, 2006. A special trip is being planned for the early part of 2007 to honor the occasion.
Their children are: Woody Dorman III, Ronnie Dorman and Susan Dorman. The couple also has also six grandchildren.
