— Pat and Petra Aguilar celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 12, 2007, with a reception dinner and dance at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Nederland. The event was hosted by: Patricia, Cesar and Tina Munoz of Port Arthur, Mary Aguilar of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Patrick Glenn Aguilar of Nederland.
Petra Ybarra and Pat Aguilar were married on April 13, 1947, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur. Pat is a Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. He retired in from Gulf Oil refinery in 1984 with 38.5 years of service and is a member of the Knights of Columbus in Nederland. Petra is a homemaker. Both are active members of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Their children are: Patricia and Cesar Munoz of Port Arthur, Mary Aguilar of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Patrick Glenn Aguilar of Nederland. The couple has one granddaughter.
