George and Audrey Elkins of Port Neches celebrated their 50th anniversary with a family dinner at Esthers Restaurant.Audrey Hanson and George Elkins were married on June 23, 1956, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville, Wisconsin. Their children are: Molly DeRoche of Nederland and Melissa Sheppard of Vidor.

Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Vincent

Cecil and Shirley Vincent of Groves celebrated their 50th anniversary on June 30, 2006.Shirley Earl and Cecil Vincent were married on June 30, 1956 in Lake Arthur, La. Both are members of First United Methodist Church of Groves. The couple has three children: Belinda Breaux of Anchorage, Alaska, Warren Vincent of Bridge City and James Vincent of Spring.

Mr. and Mrs. George Guillory

George and Myrtle Guillory will celebrate their 50th anniversary on July 4.Myrtle and George Guillory were married on July 4, 1956, in Port Arthur, Texas. George Retired from Southern Union Gas Company and Myrtle retired from the Port Neches Groves Independent School District. Their children are: Jenny Dawkins of Katy, Kim Villafano of Nederland and Craig Guillory of Port Neches. The couple also has seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Greg Cottington

Greg and Lois Cottington of Beaumont celebrated their 50th anniversary a 2 p.m. on June 25, 2006, with a reception at First United Methodist Church of Nederland. The celebration was hosted by their children, spouses and grandchildren.Lois Arnold and Greg Cottington were married on June 23, 1956, in Reinbeck, Iowa. Both are active members of First United Methodist Church, the Lions Club and Newcomers of Beaumont. Lois and Greg are world travelers and have enjoyed many different countries. Their children are: Cindy LaFleur of Friendswood, Jeff Cottington of Willis and Christine Warner of Nederland. The couple also has four grandchildren.
