Harold and Winnie Brown of Port Neches will celebrate their 50th anniversary from with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, at the Lodge in Wildwood Resort, Village Mills. The celebration by their son, Paul R. Brown and granddaughter, Breanne Brown.
Winnie Harris and Harold Brown were married on March 15, 1957, at the home of Francis and Lucelle Gates. Harold retired as a senior buyer from Jefferson/Texaco Chemical in 1988 with 28 years of service. Winnie retired in 1982 from Port Neches Groves ISD with 31 years of service. Harold works with the Jefferson/Texaco Retiree’s Club. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Sabine Oaks Home in Beaumont. Winnie serves as a Board members and secretary f the Port Neches Public Library. Bother are active members of Calder Baptist Church of Beaumont.
The couple has a son, Paul R. Brown and one grand-daughter.
