Deborah “Debbie” Kay Flynn, 58, of Nederland went to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 2, 2017.

Debbie was born on June 23, 1958 in Port Arthur, Texas to Peggy (Zerangue) and Alex Jules Judice III. She had lived in Nederland for 32 years; prior in Port Neches. Debbie enjoyed doing art and crafts and she was a great photographer. She had many years of sobriety and was very active in the Mid-County AA Group, helping other achieve their sobriety. Debbie was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend who will be missed dearly by all.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alex Judice III and her son, Jason John Miller.

Debbie is survived by her loving husband, John “Skipper” Flynn Sr. of Nederland; parents, Peggy Hoelzer and Ron Hoelzer of Orange; son, John “Sonny” Flynn Jr. of Harrison, NY; daughter, Wendy Del Monte and her husband, David of New Milford, CT and their children, Ally and Aedan, daughter, Lisa Szygiel and her husband, John of Milford, CT; brothers, Michael Charles Schmidt of Orange, Michael Webster Schmidt and his wife, Balinda of Bridge City; sister, Elizabeth Judice Balsano of Silsbee; step sister, Julie Campbell of Port Neches; step brothers, David P. Hoelzer of Port Neches and Chris. E. Hoelzer of Orange. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 11AM at the funeral home, with Rev. Stephen Floyd officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.

Honoring Debbie as pallbearers will be John Flynn, Jr., Michael Webster Schmidt, Michael Charles Schmidt, Josey Balsano, Dan Jeans and Jacob Bratton. Honorary pallbearer will be Troy Bazar.
