Edward “Dale” Chambers

Edward “Dale” Chambers went to be with his Lord January 14, 2017. He was born June 4, 1932 in Port Arthur, TX to O.R. Chambers and Laudie Jones Chambers. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Don Chambers, sisters, Patsie Chambers and Barbara Chambers. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Evelyn Chambers, sister-in-law, Hazel Chambers, stepdaughter Brenda F. Brinkley and husband, Dr. Gary L. Brinkley, and stepson, James K. Lofton. He was loved by his many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Dale was a graduate of Port Neches High School and served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Sterling Petrol Chemical.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 17th, from 6-8 p.m. and funeral services will be Wednesday, January 18th, at 10 a.m., both held at Waller-Thornton Funeral Home in Trinity. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Trinity, TX {P.O. Box 31, Trinity, TX 75862}.
