One of the men was taken out of the tank around 11 a.m. by members of the Port Arthur Fire Departments initial responding units and sent by ambulance to The Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

The PAFD Confined Space Rescue Team recovered the second man several hours later. Residue in the tank product is listed as a flammable liquid NOS, or not other wise specified.

The tank was the trailer part of a tractor-trailer low-pressure chemical cargo tank.

The men had been inside the tank cleaning it when another worker noted he had not seen them for while and went to check on them.

Freeflow Services provides industrial tank cleaning.
