Cassandra Ann Jerry-Lewis, 65, of Port Arthur, Texas, ascended from this world to be with her Savior on July 5, 2016 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband James Edwards Lewis; her mother Eula Lee Tilley Smith; father Albert Jerry; stepfather, Arthur Smith; five brothers, Albert, Alton, Bernard, Carl Lee and Craig Jerry and one sister Brenda Faye Hammond.

In her journey in life she was blessed with five lovely children, Damonica Jerry Keal (Jermaine), Ina Lavan (Carl), Alfred Jerry, LaQuinta Jerry (Donald), and William Jerry (Laura); three sisters, Carolyn, Eula (Beaumont, Texas) and Weaver Jerry; five brothers Calvin Jerry of Omaha, Nebraska, Charles, Anthony Jerry, Georgy, Osborn Scott all of Port Arthur, Texas; special caregiver Brandice Lavan and her 23 grandchildren; 29 great-grandkids, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 12 noon Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
