John Roland Delafosse, 88, passed away Wednesday February 17, 2016.  John was born in Elton Louisiana June 7, 1927 to Eli and Ivy Delafosse.  John served his country in the United States Air Force. He lived in the Nederland / Port Arthur area for 40 years.  He retired from Texaco to Fannet/ GIlchrist where he enjoyed gardening and fishing for many years. He later moved to Kingwood Texas.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Lila Mae.
He is survived by Marlena Grant and husband Barry, Graland Delafosse and wife JoAn, Joan Sloan and husband Joe, Patrick Delafosse and wife Theresa, Peggy Elliot and husband Steve, twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Rosewood Funeral Home in Humble, Texas.
