A Port Arthur home was completely destroyed in the early morning hours of Thursday, but no injuries were reported.
According to a new report published on Beaumont’s Channel 12 Web site, the fire department was dispatched to the 2300 block of Duff Drive around 4 a.m.
PAFD dispatchers said the fire was discovered after a deputy marshal from Groves noticed a faint glow in the distance, went to investigate and saw that the back of the house was engulfed in flames.
The house was a total loss.
Origin of the fire remains under investigation.
The two adults who reside at the home were not unaccounted for, though  neighbors believe they are out of town.
