Mr. Jessie Thomas, of Port Arthur died Wednesday, July 1st at St. Mary Hospital with his family by his side. A native of Lafayette, Louisiana, he was a resident of Port Arthur for 45 years.
A visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at New Jerusalem Baptist Church with Rev. Ron C. Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Theresa Arvie- Thomas, two sisters, both of Port Arthur, Betty Thomas- Scott and Janet Thomas; five brothers Burley Thomas Jr., Robert Thomas, Herbert Thomas, all of Port Arthur, Ricky and Ronald Thomas, of Houston, Texas.
